Jiu Jitsu

JiuJitsu is another form of self-defense that was adapted from Judo. It is an art that came into being through experiment, practice and adaptation which mainly focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It is based on the concept that a small and weak person can take down a stronger and bigger opponent, by using proper techniques. Some of these techniques include taking the fight to the ground and use joint locks and choke holds.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was separated from Japanese Ju-Jitsu by a great difference, Jiu Jitsu is not just a martial art but a form of physical fitness and character building sport that teaches self-defense, discipline, and respect. You will also find that itĀ builds confidence but destroys negative ego. It is a way of life.

JiuJitsu is also a great workout for those looking to burn fat and gain muscle as it focuses of four key areas: aerobics, flexibility, muscular strength and muscular endurance. It enhances the mental and physical endurance of a person.
